WaltGalmarini AG is a well-established engineering company with 60 staff, most of whom have decades of experience. They provide professional service and customized solutions for any project – from planning through construction management all the way up to the successful completion of the construction project.
They were looking for a reliable partner that could help them with the digitalization of their existing plans, as well as with the construction of 3D models that would include attributes such as demolition, formwork, and CFRP reinforcement plans. Breon was able to meet all of their needs and provided them with high-quality 3D and 2D models that were easy to interpret and implement, especially for one of the most notable projects in Zurich – “Bahnhofstrasse 32.”
The Breon Engineering team was proud to work on the “Bahnhofstrasse 32” project in Zurich and make it a great success, which resulted in Building Award in 2021! Collaborating with WaltGalmarini AG undoubtedly played an important role throughout our recent endeavours because all drawings were digitized according to Swiss standards and carefully examined so that the implementation could be done with precision and without error.

Ulaga Weiss is a renowned Swiss company with a focus on planning supporting structures.
More specifically, the design of load-bearing structures for buildings and bridges, including special foundations, excavation support and temporary structures. Also, repair measures and earthquake reinforcements Specialist construction management.
This company is also a partner to our other clients mentioned in this article – WaltGalmarini.
With Breon’s expertise and collaboration, Ulaga Weiss was able to plan out one of their most successful projects – “Depot Hard,” using the most powerful BIM software – Allplan and work on executing the 3D & Formwork plans with utmost precision.
The “Depot Hard” project consists of a modern depot hall with maintenance and repair areas for the Zurich public transport company, as well as new urban housing development that offers living space for up to 550 people and a total of 193 residential units.
This massive construction project that our experienced engineers are still working on includes the tallest freestanding cranes in Switzerland.

“Swiss TPH” is another successful project born with Ulaga Weiss’s cooperation with Breon. The many years of Breon’s quality work are rewarded with continued collaboration on this and many new exclusive projects.
This project is funded by the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute, which opened its new headquarters in the BaseLink site – an emerging life science cluster in Allschwil. This multifunctional science hub is now a place for over 700 students and employees who will focus on their research, work, and studies.
One of Breon’s tasks for the “Swiss TPH” project was to design spiral concrete stairs in 3D. Our designers, using the precise BIMtoFields software created detailed drawings resulting in completing the stairs on the field in a record time. This is a high standard even for Swiss norms.
We are pleased to have been able to make our contribution to the high-quality realization of these projects and look forward to many more joint projects in the future.
